April 2003 Facelift. It had been almost three years of staring at the same site entrance and I decided to not only give a face lift to the site, but also the entertainment stores. The results are new graphics, new navigational panels, and new visuals. The old java slide show which was pretty unique in its time three years ago had become staid and boring. Out with the old and in with the new! The new visual is now FLASH based and full of life. Hope you like the efforts.

April 2003 Celebrity photo store has developed into a robust mega super store for not only celebrity photos, but art prints as well as posters. Over 90 MBs of art .

July 2002 Call Center. This Site now incorporates a Call Center allowing visitors to contact me live. I wanted to get a bit more personal and at the same time add interactivity to the site, and I think the answer is Live Customer Service. Every page in the site has buttons for live chat, any time you need to ask a question, just click the button! If the icon reads "online" I will be with you in several seconds. If it reads "offline" you can still send me an email and I will be able to answer your questions later. So, get those questions ready.

July 2002 Redesigned. Movie and Book stores have been redesigned, allowing for dynamic content generation. I just could not keep fresh content on the pages and static links were too time consuming to manually create and change every few weeks. You will not see too much change in asthetics, however, the content is being supplied on the fly. Always fresh content, always best sellers, and always newer technology, that is what this site tries to achieve all the time.

June 2002 Forum. I am really excited about this one. New to the site is the Autograph Forum! This is a public place for visitors to post autograph requests like: address information, ideas, help getting autograph requests out etc. Anything autograph related, can be posted here for others to respond to. It needs your help to make it go since its a world community effort, so I hope everyone will post and make this forum a resource we all can be proud of.

June 2002 Restructuring. The site has gone through a serious restructuring of files and organizations. While this will not affect the way the site looks, you may see some misplaced links until I get all of the kinks out. If any links are out of place, just let me know, I will work on them.

June 2002 Analysis and Statistics. I have recently started a major analysis and statistical program for this site. Among other things I will collect useful information like how many minutes a visitor stays on my site, the ratio of returning vs new visitors, how visitors become aware of my site and what key words were used in the search that brought them here. All of this information is done behind the scenes and only relates to the visit to my site and not beyond. I think its important to analyze traffic to improve advertising efforts and wanted to let my visitors know what was going on behind the obvious.

May 2002 WayBack Machine. Added a time machine to the site. It gets hard to think of ways to uplift the site in small ways and maintain the "class" and sophistication I demand of the site, without adding cheesy, cheap trinkets. I like adding services to the site, if I can find ways of doing so without degrading the appearance and respect of my visitors. I LIKE the Wayback machine is just that sort of service. I think it will be a good fit into my site, and allows a little "fun" to take place outside of the theme and main attraction which is autographs. I hope you visit my time machine and see for your self.

May 2002 Site Tour. The self running, streaming site tour available on the home page has been completely redesigned, using new technology. Now for the first time the site tour is base on flash technology and runs smoother. The play bar at the bottom is nicer and based on a design most people are familiar with. I encourage everyone to check it out, it is really nice. I enjoyed making the presentation for all of my visitors. I have no plans right now to create a new demo of the database that I sell on my site, however there is nothing wrong with its design and still serves its purpose. I think you will agree the new site tour looks better, runs smoother, and fits better into the site theme.

April 2002 Currency Conversion. Redesigned the currency conversion calculator to work better with this site. Before, when you performed the calculations, you were taken to another site for the results. Now, I am using in-line HTML code, and the results appear right on the same page. I think its a big plus.

April 2002 Bandwidth Testing. For some time now, this site has had the abilities to test your bandwidth to see if you are getting what you thought you should (now that's a mouth full). I have re-designed my bandwidth tester to blend in with the rest of the site as in fits the theme better. I also have co-branded with Bandwidth Place to offer the test using my web site and my host servers instead of using The Bandwidth Place. They will still do the measuring, however, the test files will be coming from this site. I think it is more accurate in terms of realizing your actual throughput, plus it is now MY test, instead of theirs. Please use it any time you want. Click here

April 2002 Music Matters. I have made a monumental decision. For as long as this web site has been in existence, it has played music. I think a web site should appeal to all of the senses especially sight and sound. However, I decided after many years of this site being on the net, that I would try a different approach. I have done away with the music! Well, not exactly done away with it, it just does not play automatically anymore. I am approaching it from a different angle. Before, you got music even if you did not want it (you would have to turn it off) Now you do not get music unless you turn it on. So, on my Home Page, and all Galleries, when you see a music console, just hit "play" and listen to your hearts desire.

Nov. 2001 FAQ database added to answer questions you may have. Check here first if you need a question answered before you spend time emailing me. If your question is not answered in the FAQ there is an email form right in FAQ page.

Nov. 2001 Affiliation. The Diver's Autograph Site is now affiliated with AllPosters.com, and associated with Amazon.com. This is an attempt to not only provide solid autograph information, scans, etc. but to provide an easy, one stop place for autograph collectors. Now, while visiting, the visitor can browse my photo store, and purchase his (her) celebrity photos right from my site. It is not just for Autograph collectors, but for ALL visitors whether they are into autograph collecting or not. Fine Art, Nature, Animal Prints all can be purchased right from my site. Just go to the store.

Sept. 2001 Streaming, animated demos added to the site. I have added several demos to enhance the overall useability of the site. New visitors can now take an animated, full streaming tour of all the features this site has to offer. Also, look for a software demo in the database section, explaining how to use my autograph database. This should come in handy before actually deciding to purchase the product.

July 2001 Minor changes on the Home Page. Replaced text links for Porthole, Feedback, and Site News with Java enabled buttons like the rest of the site. Also re-arranged the Gallery page so there will be less scrolling.

July 2001 The International Association of Web Masters & Designers has honored The Diver's Autograph Site its prestigious "Golden Web Award " for excellence achieved in design, content and creativity. The web sites submitted are judged and scored in three primary categories: Design, Content and Originality. Each category may receive a score of between 1 to 10. Up to three V.V.C. members may score a particular web site. The scores from each V.V.C. member are totaled (30 being a perfect score). These scores are than added together and averaged for a final score. Winning the award requires a total score of between 24 to 30. The award is located on the home and the "awards" pages of this site. Please take the time to view these award tiles on the pages indicated.

April 2001 Official RealJukebox 2 Skin is added to the site. This wonderful skin, titled "Porthole" was designed by the talented artist Archie Chipps and is available EXCLUSIVELY for this site. It captures the spirit and whimsical nature I have tried to create in my own designs. Follow the links on the main page and download it now.

March 2001 Added translational capabilities to my site in the tune of 24 different languages! I am excited about this new feature. You know that at least 50% of internet surfers do not speak English? Now just because this site is written in English, does not mean folks speaking other languages can not enjoy visiting, and after all, this is what it is all about......keeping others coming back.
